Marge Ballif Simon freelances as a writer-poet-illustrator for
genre and mainstream publications such as Nebula
Awards 32, Strange Horizons, Flashquake, Flash Me Magazine, Dreams & Nightmares,
The Pedestal Magazine, Vestal Review. Marge is former president
of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and now serves as editor
of Star*Line. She has received the Rhysling Award for
speculative poetry and the James Award for art. Her poetry collection Artist
of Antithesis (2004) was a Bram Stoker Award finalist.
In addition to her solo work, Marge collaborates with her husband, writer-poet Bruce Boston. Their poems, stories, and cartoons have appeared or are forthcoming in Strange
Horizons, Dark Regions, Dreams & Nightmares, Star*Line, Fantasy Commentator,
and Dark Wisdom.
To date, she has illustrated four Bram Stoker Award winning collections.
