The results are in for the Preditors and Editors poll and we have quite a bit to celebrate
Niteblade placed in the top ten in two separate categories and it’s all thanks to you.
Marge Simon placed 6th in the Magazine Art category for her cover for the December issue of Niteblade and Niteblade is sharing 10th place in the Poetry Publication results.
Not too shabby for a fledgling magazine, eh?*

Marge Simon is the talented artist who provides the covers and most of the story illustrations for Niteblade, and she has recently decided to sell the original (physical) illustrations she has done for stories on Niteblade. I’ve sent out an email regarding this to those people whose stories were illustrated by Marge in Issues 1 & 2 because she is giving the authors of the story the first chance at purchasing its print.
If you have had a story illustrated by Marge and did not receive that email, I’m sorry. It’s tricky sometimes when I’m looking at email addresses and trying to keep pseudonyms straight in my head. I didn’t miss you on purpose.
Marge is charging $15 each for the black and white illustrations and $25 for the color covers. That includes shipping.
If you’re interested in purchasing the illustrations and are the author of a story that inspired them, email her at msimon6206@aol.com
Niteblade does not profit from the sale of these illustrations and there is absolutely no pressure on you to purchase them. I just think it’s wonderful of Marge to offer the authors of the stories first chance at buying them, so I want to make sure they are aware of that chance.
If you’ve got work due to come out in an upcoming issue of Niteblade, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until its release to see the art and purchase it if you like it. Again, there is no pressure, it’s just an option that is available to you.
Art will be made available to the public at large soon after the authors have all had a chance to purchase it first.
Now I’m going back to work on the March issue, which is looking amazing even if I do say so myself ![]()
