Niteblade @ The Muse Online Writers Conference

Last year I attended The Muse Online Writers Conference as a participant, this year I’ll be going there as a participant -and- a presenter. That’s right, I’ll be there representing Niteblade and answering any questions people have. I’m also really nervous. Last year I noticed some forums didn’t have anyone posting in them — I don’t want to have one of those forums LOL So if you’re attending the conference (and you really should) pop by the Rhonda Parrish/Niteblade forum and say hi. You don’t want me to be sad and lonely do you? 
Also, if you are a writer who has been published by Niteblade, there may be questions there you can answer better than I. Questions like, ‘Is Rhonda really the complete ogre we’ve heard she is?’ and such. 
To register for the conference you just go to http://www.themuseonlinewritersconference.com/ and follow the registration link. It will take you to a mailing list. Once you join that Lea will send you all the information you need to pick your workshops and such in September.

The Dark Phantom Review
May 7th, 2008 by NitebladeThe Dark Phantom Review is a great little blog that does book reviews, author interviews and editor reviews. In addition, they also have articles and short fiction. It’s run by Mayra Calvani, who is a talented writer. Recently I was honored to be interviewed by The Dark Phantom Review, and the interview is live now.

Preditors & Editors Results
February 26th, 2008 by NitebladeThe results are in for the Preditors and Editors poll and we have quite a bit to celebrate Niteblade placed in the top ten in two separate categories and it’s all thanks to you.
Marge Simon placed 6th in the Magazine Art category for her cover for the December issue of Niteblade and Niteblade is sharing 10th place in the Poetry Publication results.
Not too shabby for a fledgling magazine, eh?*

Niteblade Reviews
December 19th, 2007 by NitebladeNow that I’m feeling more comfortable in my role as editor and I feel like I have things within Niteblade under control and working well I’m planning on devoting some more time and attention to directing traffic to the magazine. I’ve taken out some paid advertising in a couple places but in addition to that I’d like to see the magazine reviewed in a few places.
If you, or your favorite publication review magazines please drop me at line at rhonda at jofigure.com so I can submit a .pdf copy of Niteblade for consideration and review. Anyone who can point me in the direction of somewhere Niteblade can get reviewed for better exposure will be rewarded with a free .pdf of their own and my gratitude.
In the coming weeks and months I’ll be continuing with projects meant to increase the exposure and traffic to Niteblade so keep an eye on this spot, and also an eye out for places that might be interested in reviewing and/or linking to Niteblade.
