Lovely work. I really like the postures in the third piece, they truly set the mood at first glance :)

What is the title of the upcoming children's book?

Well, I voted for Niteblade!

It is a bit of a popularity contest, but self promotion is a integral part of this industry. In fact I have a few stories and poems up there as well, including "Family Jaunt" which appears in Niteblade and in the newest Niteblade Anthology. I would attach a link to them, but the post would be eaten by spam-eating robots, so just look for my stories and if you like them, vote!

I'm looking forward to another great year of stories and articles in Niteblade 2010.

Yes, the P&E Poll is a popularity contest of sorts. However, I must admit, I'm still actively taking part. I'm still seeking nominations and votes, even though it does take time away from other, possibly more important, things. Although, self-promotion is a part of being a writer and/or artist.

I do have one problem with the poll - it seems a bit disorganized. I've had stuff nominated in several categories, sometimes multiple times (four separate nominations for the cover-art I did for Abandoned Towers #3). Some of the entries listing my works neglect to mention me in the by-line! I still know it's my work, or at least suspect so. That's not good. Not good at all.

Anyway, good luck to you and Niteblade!

My favorite picture of all these is Tea-Party. While all the images Ric shared here have got stories behind them, and in them, it's the tea party's that intrigues me the most.

My personal favourite of the bunch is "The Minuet Macabre". I think it has a delightful mix of the macabre and the whimsical. Not to mention, it seems the perfect image for Halloween, creepy and fun at the same time.

A very close runner-up would be "Dragon's Lair". I like the somewhat stylized nature of the dragon, and the colours work beautifully. They help draw the eyes right to the dragon. Of course, I'm partial to dragons anyway.

Cheers and chills!

I think my favorite image here is that of the dancing fairy. Her posture is incredibly evocative and I really like the color palette of the piece.

Thank you for sharing your work here Amber.
