It is a bit of a popularity contest, but self promotion is a integral part of this industry. In fact I have a few stories and poems up there as well, including "Family Jaunt" which appears in Niteblade and in the newest Niteblade Anthology. I would attach a link to them, but the post would be eaten by spam-eating robots, so just look for my stories and if you like them, vote! However, I must admit, I'm still actively taking part. I'm still seeking nominations and votes, even though it does take time away from other, possibly more important, things. Although, self-promotion is a part of being a writer and/or artist. I do have one problem with the poll - it seems a bit disorganized. I've had stuff nominated in several categories, sometimes multiple times (four separate nominations for the cover-art I did for Abandoned Towers #3). Some of the entries listing my works neglect to mention me in the by-line! I still know it's my work, or at least suspect so. That's not good. Not good at all. Anyway, good luck to you and Niteblade!
